This is our story.
Hello & Welcome! We’re Ingrid & Agnes, sisters and owners of I&A Foto Studio, two creative thinkers with a shared passion for photography. Our studio offers professional portrait, wedding and commercial photography. We are based in Oslo, Norway and Sevilla, Spain. We also spend parts of the year in Lawrence, Kansas. Contact us for our 2025 schedule.
Having spent much of our youth travelling; always exploring new cultures and lives, creating visual stories came naturally to us both. We are drawn to the movements of color, light and the changing landscapes, the stories of everyday people - capturing the small and big moments that make up a life. We are storytellers who believe in the power of an image. The camera allows us to tell your story. Can’t wait!

From early on life was an adventure; first exploring the woods on my family’s farmstead outside of Oslo, Norway and then traveling around the world, ending up on the prairie in Kansas for many years, where I ran a small photography studio. Now I’m settling into my new home in Sevilla, Spain; a vibrant city filled with color and ever changing movement. My deep love of nature and travel taught me to see and observe, it made me curious about my surroundings. My father, a teacher, avid hiker, painter and musician, encouraged me to be creative early in life and gave me a camera for my seventeenth birthday. Since then, I haven’t stopped exploring the world around me with camera in hand.

I grew up in the forest of Hadeland, Norway. A place filled with natural beauty; streaks of light shining like gold through the pine tree forest, fields of white oats and a home filled with the vibrant colors of my father's paintings. The soundtrack of my childhood were guitars from the living room, where my mother and father practiced and wrote music. Storytelling and communication have always been a natural part of who I am. I’ve been lucky to be surrounded by people who have taught me to appreciate the small moments in life and the strangeness of it all, always curious and searching. When I picked up the camera as a teenager, inspired by my older sister, I finally found a way to convey everything I wanted to say. The camera has since followed me wherever I've walked, traveled or lived.
